Our Opertional Plan
Raise $5k and apply for 501(c)(3) status by Summer 2026. To support the Elessar Ranch Foundation's mission of community living for veterans, we aim to apply for grants and raise $2 million to kickstart Phase 1 construction by mid to late 2026. The timeline for Construction Phase 2 - Ranch startup is TBD, followed by Construction Phase 3, which will expand housing as needed.
Shiping Container Homes
At the Elessar Ranch, our primary focus is on community living, with that we will offer 1 bedroom, 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom homes specifically designed to support the veterans needs. We will be using Shipping Containers to minimize cost while still providing spacious and comfortable living spaces.
Mobile Tiny Homes
As a primary long term solution for select Veterans we will work with them to determine thier needs, to help us build a custom tiny home on wheels, that they can locate anywhere they want. With an area on the property reserved and designed for short or long term location for these homes.
Family Matters
The Elessar Ranch Foundation takes pride in community and especially family. On the Ranch we will have an area of the property designed for Veterans with families, including a park and recreational facilities with kids and family as the focal point. For those Veteran Families we will have 3 and 4 bed units designed with family in mind.
Solar and Wind Power
At the Elessar Ranch , will harness solar and wind generated energy to achieve 130% self-sustainability, which not only supports our community living initiatives but also creates an additional income base to support veterans.
Horse Operation
The most important tool on a working ranch, such as the Elessar Ranch, is horses. Breeding and training horses not only serves as a valuable income source but also supports community living initiatives that aim to support veterans. Additionally, horse rescue efforts for the rehabilitation and reintegration of abused or neglected horses play a vital role in our mission. Additionally it suports the Foundations stance on secound chances and just as we suport the working theory of no veteran left behind we will aply the same model to our horse family.
Cow/Calf Operation
At the Elessar Ranch, we offer cows and bulls for breeding, along with calves for sale at market. Our focus on community living extends to providing steers for pasture-raised beef, all while working to support our veterans.
Free Range Chickens and Pigs
Raising chickens for eggs and meat is a sustainable practice that supports community living, especially at places like the Elessar Ranch. Additionally, pigs can be raised for meat, further contributing to the goal of supporting veterans through self-sufficient farming.
Greenhouse's and Gardens
At the Elessar Ranch, we promote community living by providing vegetables for use and sale at farmers markets year-round.
Community Center
The Elessar Ranch Foundation is committed to promoting community living by providing a supportive environment for veterans. The Community Center will feature a full-service kitchen that serves three meals daily from Monday through Saturday. Additionally, it will include a gym, offices, and a recreational room for events and community socializing, all designed to support veterans in their journey.
Holiday Events
The Elessar Ranch Foundation believes in the principle of no man or woman left behind. To embody this spirit, we are hosting holiday party's for the community, where friends and family are welcome to join in the celebrations. Our commitment to community living includes supporting veterans, additionally its an oportunity for our staff to include thier families and friends in the cummunity they are a part.
